Freezes In MoE
Lockup at Windmill (Kingdom of Daventry)
The game locks up at the ax/windmill.
If after setting Compatibility
mode for 9x, applying the game patch and and possibly the MS
Visual Basic 6 Runtime update as well does not work, try this:
- Put your weapon away before you leave the windmill.
- Switch to first person view BEFORE you leave the mill house. (You can then switch back to third person
view, right after the cut-scene and before engaging the henchman.)
One player reported "I found that until I had accumulated at least 45 point I couldn't get past it."
You can also download a saved
game that starts just past the point of the Lockup.
Dimension of Death Freeze

This bug and has a patch. Download the MOE13FG.EXE

to work. You can also download a saved
game that starts just past the point of the Lockup.
